Weekly Least Sandpiper (LESA) night flight call (nfc) activity from all five stations in the Summer 2025 WNY acoustic monitoring transect. LESA calls were automatically detected by Nighthawk 0.3.1 software operating from half an hour after sunset to 60 minutes before sunrise. W. Evans confirmed identity of the automatic detections and removed non-LESA calls. Nfc activity is the sum of all incidences of a correctly ID'd LESA nfc detection that occurred at least two minutes from another LESA nfc detection. Data in this graph is updated weekly through the end of Summer 2025.
