Weekly Upland Sandpiper (UPSA) night flight call activity detected from five stations in the WNY acoustic monitoring transect. UPSA calls were automatically detected by Nighthawk 0.3.1 software operating from half-an-hour after sunset to 60 minutes before sunrise (30 minutes before sunrise in 2026). W. Evans confirmed identity of the automatic detections and removed non-UPSA calls. UPSA call activity is the sum of all incidences of a correctly ID'd UPSA call that occurred at least two minutes from another UPSA call. Data updated weekly.
